Park Services Equipment Operator $18.00/HR

Overview

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the daily upkeep and aesthetic care of the park grounds. Operating throughout the property in a company vehicle, this individual uses powerwashers and leaf blowers to keep walkways, seating areas, and lawns clear of dirt and debris. Their hands-on efforts ensure the park remains clean, safe, and beautifully maintained for all Guests.

Responsibilities

• Provides Guest services according to Six Flags standards when serving the Guest or working with subordinates, including initiating Guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision. 
• Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs. 
• Meets Six Flag's attendance requirements as outlined in Six Flags's attendance policies. 
• Adheres to Six Flags's Code of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures. 

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. 
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply to this position.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. 
• Candidates who have previous experience using tools such as a leaf blower and power washer are encouraged to apply.
