Job Description
Position Summary
Health Choice Network is seeking an Epic Bridges Integration Analyst to support and enhance healthcare interoperability solutions across Epic and third-party systems. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting interfaces and API integrations that enable secure and reliable data exchange.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Epic Bridges, HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, and healthcare integrations in a production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Epic Bridges Certification (required)
- 6+ years of healthcare IT, integration, interface, or interoperability experience
- Experience supporting Epic and third-party system integrations
- Hands-on experience with HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, JSON, and XML
- Experience troubleshooting production interfaces and integration issues
- Experience supporting testing, implementation, and go-live activities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic Interconnect
- Epic FHIR APIs and SMART on FHIR
- Interface engines (Mirth, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, etc.)
- Azure API Management, MuleSoft, or Boomi
- OAuth 2.0 and API security best practices
- Population Health, HIE, Laboratory, Pharmacy, or Payer integrations
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, implement, and support Epic and third-party interfaces
- Support HL7, FHIR, and API-based integrations
- Troubleshoot interface and interoperability issues in production
- Coordinate testing, implementations, cutovers, and go-live activities
- Develop integration documentation and technical specifications
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
- Monitor interface performance and drive issue resolution
