EP Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver

Job Details: Job Location: El Paso - El Paso, TX, Salary Range: $18.00, WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE AND DELIVERY DRIVER

Position Purpose:

Warehouse duties include using RF scanning system to stock and pull materials, equipment, and other items for shipping or delivery.

Truck Driving duties include delivering material, product and equipment within the sales territory for the distribution center. MUST be over the age of 19 to drive; MUST have a Valid DL with clear 7-year Driving Record.

Salary: $18 per hour

Required Experience:
• Driving: 1 year (Required)
• Sit down Forklift: 1 year (Required)
• Warehouse: 1 year (Required)
• Box Truck Driving: 2-3 years (Preferred)
• Materials handling: 1 year (Preferred)
• RF Scanner: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Responsibilities:
· Makes deliveries daily to customers in the sales territory in an efficient manner, minimizing the time away from the warehouse while driving the vehicle in a safe & courteous manner.
· Reports any mechanical issues with the delivery vehicle to the supervisor immediately.
· Delivers or routes materials to shipping or delivery area in the warehouse, using work devices, such as hand-trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
· Examines pallet loads and package contents in order to compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment
· Confers and corresponds with supervisors or sales representatives to resolve problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance specifications
· Stock material, equipment, and supplies to maintain inventory of stock
· Pull orders and stage material in shipping or delivery area in the warehouse, using work devices, such as hand-trucks, carts, pallet, jacks, and lift-trucks
· General housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in warehouse
· Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
· Must have a clean 7-year driving history with no DWI
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
· Comfortable walking and standing for more than 80% of the work day.
· Ability to read a map and follow directions to customer sites
· 2-3 years of box truck driving experience
· Must be able to drive a sit down forklift.
· Good knowledge of basic math and reading skills
· Active listening skills to contribute to effective communication.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
