EP Inside Sales

Job Details: Job Location: El Paso - El Paso, TX, Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.00, Position Purpose:

Receives, processes, and follows up on sales orders for materials and equipment; communicating pricing, shipping dates and/or delays. Additional customer service duties include preparing sales quotes and answering customer questions, including informing customers of product description, specifications, and utilization.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Professional who is highly motivated, and goal driven, for our office in El Paso, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in the wholesale industrial supply industry, will have a professional and personable demeanor, and will be a team player. Candidate must be bilingual, speaking English and Spanish fluently. 

Job Responsibilities:

Enters sales orders into the sales order entry system. Routes or relays orders to specified department or sales branch to prepare and ship orders to designated locations.
Informs customer of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and additional information.
Computes total charge for product or services, and shipping charges.
Reviews orders for completion and accuracy, follows up on back-orders.
Recommends product or services to customers, attempts to sell additional merchandise or service to prospective or current customers.
Confers with sales, inventory, purchasing, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or track product or delayed shipments.
Resolves issues for our customers.
Ability to prepare reports for management.
Perform other duties, as assigned.

Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

Excellent communication skills, establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships
Background in sales in the wholesale industrial supply industry
Proven ability to follow up on leads, manage a sales pipeline, and sales forecasting
Experience resolving conflicts and negotiating with others
Computer skills for data entry and information processing, performing administrative duties
Strong attention to detail
Flexibility in problem-solving techniques
Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
