Environmental Health and Safety Intern

Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern at our Fairfield, Ohio location for the Fall 2026 semester. This is a part-time, onsite position requires the ideal candidate to be located in the general area. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

As an Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer Intern, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Risk assessment and Job Hazard Analysis
• Development of site-specific safety trainings
• Digitization of EHS documents
• Projects around top 5 hazards
• Lead 5s safety initiatives
• Ergonomic assessments
• Behavior-Based safety

• Environmental sustainability champion

• Site Green team champion

• Other projects as needed / working alongside seasoned professionals

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is $23 to $27.50 per hour.  Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
