Hours/Days:  Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts will vary based on business needs.

Retail experience helpful.

I. Summary of the main function/purpose of the position:

The purpose of this position is to generate and maximize revenue for Envie Boutique. As a Lead Sales Associate, you will assist customers in choosing merchandise that fits their specific wants and needs, as well as assist the Store Manager by supervising staff.

II. Key Principal duties/responsibilities:

• Initiate contact with customers via face-to-face (10-5 rule), phone, e-mail, or Facebook
• Drive sales through rapport with clients.
• Investigate what customer needs/desire by listening and observing
• Assist guests in choosing appropriate merchandise based on their wants and needs
• Suggestive sell to add-on units and complete looks.
• Create guest profiles by entering guest information into Artisan.
• Assist in supervising sales associates.
• Secure merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
• Protect employees and customers by ensuring a safe and clean store environment.

Occasional duties or projects which may be performed at irregular intervals:

· Processing Shipment

· Cleaning

· Merchandising

· Creating POs

· Assisting with Window Displays

Records: This position will require a specified Sales Per Hour (SPH).

Safety: Protect employees and customers by ensuring a safe and clean environment

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by exceeding the expectations of our guests

Dept. Specific: Ensure staff, as well as yourself, greet every customer (10/5 Rule), suggestively sell to build Units Per Transaction (UPT), ensure a quick and efficient check-out experience, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction by phone or Thank You card.

IV. Supervisory Responsibility:

Assist in training, advising, and assisting employees through the entire sales process.

Educational and /or equivalent in experience requirements

High School diploma preferred. Prior experience in retail sales is a plus.

Specialized or technical educational requirements:

· Knowledge of brands, designers, and current fashion trends.

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.

· Ability to organize and write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and the general public.

· Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as percentages.

· Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions when furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form.

Computer, printer, calculator, and standard office equipment and machines as required.
