Position Overview

MEI Group is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our service team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in automotive repair. Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll perform routine maintenance, assist with vehicle repairs, and gain valuable hands-on experience while developing your technical skills.

What You'll Do

Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
Assist experienced technicians with mechanical repairs and vehicle diagnostics.
Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs.
Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
Participate in company training and continue developing technical skills.
Work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians, and management.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Basic automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude.
Previous experience in automotive maintenance, lube services, or personal vehicle repair is a plus but not required.
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Desire to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical shop duties, including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
Ability to work assigned shifts, including occasional Saturdays as business needs require.
Ability to successfully complete a background check and verify authorization to work in the United States.
