Account Executive – TOLA (SLED)

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a high-performing, hunter-oriented Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth across the TOLA (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas) SLED (State, Local Government & Education) market.

In this role, you'll own the full enterprise sales cycle, partnering with state agencies, higher education institutions, and local government organizations to help them secure their most critical data as they adopt AI and cloud technologies. You'll work collaboratively with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and our partner ecosystem to develop strategic account plans, generate pipeline, and close complex enterprise opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan across the TOLA SLED market.
•  Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for net-new and expansion opportunities.
•  Build executive relationships with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, procurement leaders, and key stakeholders.
•  Partner with Sales Engineering to deliver demos and POVs.
• Collaborate with channel and alliance partners to generate pipeline.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
• Represent Cyera at industry events.
•  Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Executive Leadership.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience selling cybersecurity, cloud, data, or AI solutions.
• Experience selling into State, Local Government, and/or Higher Education (SLED).
• Consistent history of exceeding quota and closing complex enterprise deals.
• Executive-level communication skills.
• Experience with long procurement-driven sales cycles.
• Understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern security concepts preferred.
• Experience with value-based selling and forecasting.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30–50%. 

COMPENSATION INFORMATION: 

Compensation Range: $300,000-$360,000

The range represents total compensation, and may include incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.

This compensation range represents Cyera’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Cyera may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in Cyera’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Cyera’s business and other operational considerations.

Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
