Engineering Technician Intern

• Work side by side with engineering professionals to learn to contribute on a project team
• Develop an understanding of the new product development environment and how you will apply the skills you’ve acquired through your education
• Work with leading edge technology to develop sophisticated electronic measurement instruments

 At TSI, here’s just some of the experience opportunities:

• Construct, evaluate, and troubleshoot prototype devices            
• Oscilloscope probing techniques      
• Record test results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations
• Use CAD software to support engineering activities
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Soldering skills                               

Qualifications and Skills:

• Major/Program:  Electronic Technology or Robotics
• Maintain a minimum CUM 3.0 GPA (based on a 4.0 scale)
• Student Status:  Currently enrolled as a full-time student
• Comfortable in a lab environment
• Strong desire to learn, self-motivated
• Naturally high attention to detail, good organization skills

Pay & Benefits:

• 12-week (approx.) internship program – Summer 2027
• This position pays an hourly rate of $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
• Interns work approximately 40 hours each week during the internship
• Eligible for time off in compliance with applicable state laws
