Engineering Intern

Summer Internship with a industry leader, Molin Concrete Products Company. 

*This Position will be onsite at Lino Lakes, MN

Essential Functions:

• Assist in residential and commercial projects
• Examine general plans, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure drawings match customer expectations
• Produce engineering calculations and designs for project submittals
• Checking production piece drawings for proper reinforcing, lifting, and stressing requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts
• Develop skills within engineering software such as Concise, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, etc.
• RFI Document Drafting
• Non-compliant product review

Education and Experience:

• A 3^rd or 4^th year civil engineering student, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Required coursework: Reinforced Concrete Design & Structural Analysis
• Preferred coursework: Structural Steel Design, Prestressed Concrete Design (or equivalent RCD 2), and Structural Systems
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required
• Previous Internship experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay for this position will be $25/hr depending on the experience and qualifications of the applicant.*
