About the opportunity
The Engineer PT position at Courtyard Pittsburgh Airport is a part-time role that plays a crucial part in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the hotel. This role is responsible for ensuring that all systems and equipment are operating efficiently and safely.

What you'll get to do
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
* Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
* Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained
* Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a prompt and professional manner
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including work orders and inventory of parts and supplies

Skills and Experience
* High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in engineering or a related field preferred
* Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
* Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
* Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures, including OSHA regulations
