Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Downtown Library - Oklahoma City, OK 73102Education Level: BA/BSSalary Range: $22.22 - $26.67 HourlyTravel Percentage: Up to 25%JOB SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, the Engagement Specialist II works with staff to support the Library's strategic goals and initiatives by assisting customers and providing relevant and timely programs and services, both inside and outside the library. This particular position will work with guests of all ages but will have a specific interest in programming geared toward adults. 

This position will be assigned to the Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library, which is located at 300 Park Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73102. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science from an accredited college or university; and
One year of customer service experience.

HIGHLY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

Enthusiasm for public service and the ability to work well with a diverse audience.
Experience building sustainable community relationships.

Salary and BenefitsThe hiring salary for this position is $22.22 hourly.  This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.  This position is classified as non-exempt from the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.  The current need for this position requires that the candidate be available to work the following days: Monday 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
