What You’ll Do

• Diagnose pulpal, periapical, and other endodontic conditions
• Determine whether teeth can be predictably treated and preserved
• Perform nonsurgical root canal therapy and appropriate retreatments
• Evaluate and treat cracked, traumatized, infected, or previously treated teeth
• Provide urgent care for patients experiencing dental pain or infection
• Perform surgical endodontic procedures when appropriate and supported by available resources
• Use CBCT, digital radiography, and other technology to support diagnosis and treatment
• Explain treatment recommendations, risks, prognosis, and postoperative care clearly
• Provide compassionate care to patients who may be anxious or uncomfortable
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate treatment outcomes and follow-up needs to referring dentists
• Collaborate with Dental Assistants, Patient Care Coordinators, and office leadership
• Follow all patient-safety, infection-control, prescribing, and regulatory requirements

Who We’re Looking For

The right Endodontist delivers efficient, high-quality specialty care while building trust with patients and referring providers. You communicate clearly, exercise sound clinical judgment, remain composed during complex cases, and work collaboratively with general dentists and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Completion of an accredited advanced education program in endodontics
• Active, unrestricted Tennessee dental license or eligibility to obtain one
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• DEA registration and prescribing credentials as required
• Professional liability coverage or eligibility for approved coverage
• Ability to satisfy credentialing, payer, background, and compliance requirements
• Board certification or board eligibility preferred

Schedule

This is a two-day-per-week position:

• One day per week at our Brentwood office
• One day per week at our East Nashville office

Specific days will be discussed during the interview process. Clinic patient hours are 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. No nights or weekends.

Compensation

This opportunity includes a daily guarantee and a competitive percentage of adjusted production. Specific compensation terms will be discussed during the interview process.
