About the Role

The Employee Cook 1 is responsible for preparing high-quality food items in accordance with established recipes, production standards, and presentation guidelines. This role supports the culinary team by ensuring all mise en place is completed, food safety standards are maintained, and guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

What You Will Do

• Prepare food items of consistent quality according to guest orders following recipe, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards.

• Strong knowledge of health codes and full understanding of all knife cuts and animal breakdown.

• Complete mise en place and set-up station for lunch and/or dinner service.

• Operates, upholds and properly cleans kitchen equipment while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

• Label and date all food containers and rotates as per policies.

• Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up.

• Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages.

• Return all food items not used to designated storage areas.

What You Bring

• Experience in a professional kitchen environment; specialized culinary skills such as breakfast cook, oyster shucking, or similar expertise are an asset.

• Bulk cooking experience needed

• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and health code requirements.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Collaborative team-player mindset with strong leadership potential.

• Passion for hospitality, culinary excellence, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Schedule & Hours

• Sunday and Monday (7AM-4:30PM)

• Hours may include additional mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
