JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine or Primary Care with EM experience
• Licenses: Active Missouri State License
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA and BNDD required
• Certifications: ACLS required
• Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required
• Other Qualifications: CME from past 2 years, procedure logs, current immunizations (flu, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, COVID), Quantiferon TB test or 2-Step PPD

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the 10-bed ED, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Manage trauma, minor care, and hazmat cases as needed.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
• Coordinate with on-call specialists (OB, Radiology, Urology) for patient referrals.
• Document patient encounters in PowerChart/PowerDocs EMR and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
