JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or BC in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with PALS, ATLS, ACLS
- Licenses: Active Louisiana medical license required
- DEA / CDS: Active Louisiana DEA and Controlled Substance license required
- Certifications: PALS, ATLS, ACLS required
- Experience: 2 years experience in emergency medicine required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Supervise and collaborate with NPPA (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) in the Fast Track area.
- Manage acute medical conditions, trauma, and critical care cases.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in shift coverage requiring 42 shifts per month across 3 full-time physicians.
