JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Licenses: Active unrestricted MS medical license, DEA with MS address (Schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5)
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CSR (if required by state)
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (if not board certified in EM or EM trained)
• Experience: Completion of 3-year residency in EM, FM, or IM with moonlighting approval; 2,000+ contact hours in ED or acute care within last 2 years
• Other Qualifications: Proof of 40 CME hours over past 2 years; case logs for past 2 years; supervising NP/PA experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
• Supervise and serve as backup physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
• Perform moderate sedation procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with emergency department staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
