JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) with at least 2 years of ED experience at facilities with annual volumes of 10,000+ visits
- Licenses: Active Texas license required
- Certifications: ATLS (initial for BC physicians; current ATLS and ACLS for non-boarded physicians)
- Experience: FM physicians must have 2+ years of ED experience in high-volume settings
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in a freestanding emergency department
- Manage adult and pediatric patients with a variety of acute conditions
- Perform initial evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain accurate medical records using EPIC EMR
