JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM candidates only)
• Licenses: Active TN Medical License, Active DEA with TN address (Schedules 2-5)
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with TN address (Schedules 2-5)
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
• Experience: Completion of approved EM residency program
• Other Qualifications: ECFMG certification (if foreign grad), supervising physician for NPs/PAs

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency care in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center.
• Manage a broad range of cases including trauma, cardiac, oncology, and pediatric emergencies.
• Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants within the department.
• Participate in cross-coverage and shared privileges across JCMC, Observation, and Niswonger Children's Hospital.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Epic EHR.
