JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Licenses: Active, unrestricted Ohio medical license; Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Ohio address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
• Certifications: NRP required; ACLS, PALS, ATLS required for FM/IM physicians
• Experience: Residency trained in EM, IM, or FM
• Other Qualifications: Case logs for previous 2 years; seasonal influenza vaccine required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a 17-bed ED with approximately 25,000 annual visits.
• Work 12-hour shifts, including both 7a-7p and 7p-7a coverage.
• Supervise Physician Assistants and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners (22 hours/day APP support).
• Perform moderate sedation and other emergency procedures as required.
• Maintain required certifications and documentation including case logs and immunizations.
