Unlike a typical 9-to-5, we don't have regularly scheduled shifts. Instead, our team of dedicated responders provides coverage on an as-needed basis.

Here's how it works:
Weekday coverage is handled by the first available responders who can answer the call.
Weekend coverage is provided by two on-call responders from Saturday at 6:00 a.m. to Monday at 6:00 a.m. During this time, you'll receive on-call hourly pay.
In addition to on-call pay, you'll also earn commission based on a per-trip basis for every call you take.
As an EMT, you'll be responsible for providing immediate, high-quality care to critically ill and injured patients. This includes responding to both emergency calls and inter-facility transfers, all while following the guidelines set by the Haxtun Ambulance EMS Protocols and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Possess and maintain current Colorado EMT certification. (Basic, Advance, Intermediate, Paramedic)
Possess and maintain all other certificates required by the level of EMT certificate (ACLS, PALS, etc)
Possess and maintain CPR certification for healthcare.
Possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver’s License
Possess or obtain ICS 100 & 700 for NIMS compliances
