Role Overview

DREAMLABS is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Email Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of email and SMS marketing across our client portfolio. This is an execution-focused role for someone who is comfortable working inside Klaviyo and can take a finalized strategy, brief, and creative assets and turn them into accurate, fully functional campaigns and automated flows.
You will be responsible for building, QAing, scheduling, and maintaining email and SMS programs while keeping projects organized and communicating clearly with the internal team and clients. The ideal candidate understands the mechanics behind lifecycle marketing, takes ownership of their work, and can be trusted to execute accurately without constant oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Campaign Implementation: Build, schedule, and launch email and SMS campaigns across multiple clients based on finalized strategic briefs and provided creative assets.
• Flow Logic & Automation: Build, update, and maintain automated customer journeys in Klaviyo, including welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, winback, and other lifecycle flows.
• Audience Segmentation: Build and apply accurate audience segments based on campaign objectives, customer behavior, purchase history, engagement, and other relevant criteria.
• Pop-Ups & On-Site Capture: Build and maintain Klaviyo forms and pop-ups, including targeting rules, triggers, and integrations with email and SMS programs.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough self-QA before anything goes live, including links, UTMs, segmentation, exclusions and suppressions, flow logic, copy, creative, mobile and desktop rendering, test sends, and scheduling.
• Project & Account Coordination: Keep campaign and flow builds organized and on schedule, proactively communicate status and blockers, and ensure deliverables move smoothly from brief through launch.
• Client Communication: Support day-to-day client communication in Slack or Teams by acknowledging requests, providing clear status updates, and escalating strategic questions to the appropriate team member.
• Platform Management & Troubleshooting: Work confidently within Klaviyo and our broader lifecycle marketing tech stack, including SMS platforms such as Postscript, and help troubleshoot implementation issues as they arise.
• Deliverability & Compliance: Follow email and SMS best practices around consent, suppression, list hygiene, sending practices, and basic deliverability to help protect client programs and customer experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on email marketing experience, ideally within an agency or e-commerce environment.
• Hands-on experience building campaigns, segments, and automated flows in Klaviyo is required.
• Experience with Postscript or another SMS marketing platform is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of lifecycle marketing fundamentals, including segmentation, customer retention, and automated customer journeys.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over the accuracy of your work.
• Highly reliable and communicative, with the ability to manage deadlines, keep your calendar organized, and proactively update the team on progress or blockers.
• Comfortable communicating professionally with clients through Slack, Teams, or similar platforms.
• Able to take a finalized brief and run with it independently while knowing when to ask questions or escalate an issue.
• Comfortable working across multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.
