Electronics Manufacturing Apprentice

Are you interested in starting a career in electronics manufacturing? Advanced Mission Partners, a wholly owned subsidiary of SSAI, is seeking a motivated Electronics Manufacturing Apprentice who is interested in beginning a career in electronics manufacturing and gaining hands-on experience in a professional production environment. This positition is designed for an individual who is eager to learn, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to develop the technical skills needed for a future career in electronics manufacturing, assembly, testing, or related fields.

Working alongside experienced manufacturing and technical staff, the intern will receive hands-on training and exposure to the processes, tools, equipment, and quality standards used to manufacture electronic products and components. Prior electronics manufacturing experience is not required -- we are looking for someone with a strong interest in learning and developing new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the assembly and testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic systems.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Help develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting on electronic assemblies and components.
• Maintain accurate documentation for production activities, test results, and quality checks.
• Support inventory management of components and materials used in production.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing or 5S practices.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work both in a team as well as an individual setting.
