Job Description
VPT, Inc., a global leader in providing power conversion solutions for use in avionics, military, space and industrial applications, is currently searching for Electrical Engineering students interested in obtaining a Summer 2027 internship position. This internship will provide an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both an R&D and manufacturing environment while working alongside experienced engineers who are leaders in their field.
Interns will contribute to a range of engineering tasks including:
- Assist the engineering team with product development, as needed
- Interact with customer and suppliers on a regular basis
Qualifications:
- Ability to use oscilloscopes and other common electronics test equipment
- Ability to multi-task and complete assignments in a timely manner
The ideal candidate will also have basic electronics experience.
Actual employment will be through a staffing agency of VPT's choosing.
The anticipated starting salary range for this role will be $20 - $30 / hour.
