Educational DiagnosticianKaty, Texas12 Months Contract I Part Time The Educational Diagnostician will conduct educational evaluations and assessments, complete FIEs, prepare comprehensive evaluation documentation, and support ARD processes and Special Education compliance.Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs).
• Perform educational assessments and administer/interprete applicable assessment tools.
• Determine student eligibility for Special Education services.
• Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and legally compliant evaluation reports.
• Use Cross-Battery Assessment Software System (XBASS) as required for applicable learning disability evaluations.
• Schedule, plan, and facilitate ARD meetings as required.
• Ensure ARD management complies with state-mandated timelines.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, District staff, and other professionals.
• Provide recommendations regarding classroom arrangements, behavioral interventions, strategies, and student support.
• Complete evaluations thoroughly and within specified timelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and information.
• Manage multiple assignments and projects.
• Support campus Diagnostician office responsibilities when assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a related field.
• Current Educational Diagnostician Certification.
• Certification/licensure maintained in good standing.
• Knowledge of school psychology practices, behavioral assessment, mental health evaluation, and Special Education regulations.
• Proficiency in assessment administration and interpretation.
• Knowledge of federal and Texas Special Education rules and regulations.
• Ability to prepare accurate, comprehensive, and legally compliant evaluation reports.
• Ability to complete evaluations within required timelines.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments/projects.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Successful background/fingerprinting check.
• Adherence to professional and ethical standards.
• Successful interview and professional recommendations.
