Early Learning Leader

Job Details: Job Location: Main YMCA - Goldsboro, NC, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $9.00 - $11.00Hourly, Job Shift: Any, The Early Learning Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the YMCA Child Watch and Kids Zone programs, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children. Child Watch serves children ages 6 weeks–5 years, while Kids Zone serves children ages 6–11 years. 
Qualifications: This position ensures appropriate supervision and safety practices, maintains clean and organized program spaces, and helps provide age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

The Early Learning Leader communicates professionally with parents and guardians, addresses program needs, assists with staff coverage and daily operations, and ensures YMCA policies, procedures, and safety standards are consistently followed. The leader serves as a positive role model for staff and works closely with the Senior Director of Youth Programs to provide a high-quality experience for children and families.
