Early Childhood Relievers - North Shore

Relievers are a valued part of our team. Whether you’re looking for work/life balance or want to spend your day making a difference in a child’s life, you’ll play a unique role in supporting our Kaiako to provide loving care and education for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Relievers to support our team in our early childhood centres across the North Shore, working with children from 3 months to 5 years old. Experience working with young children is highly valued, but just as important is a positive attitude, flexibility, and a genuine love for supporting tamariki in their learning and play.

This role involves assisting Teachers with daily routines, engaging with children in play and learning experiences, and helping to maintain a clean and safe environment. Cleaning duties are part of the role, and applicants should be physically active and comfortable working in a busy early childhood setting.

About You:

• Reliable and available, often at short notice

• Qualified or experience with children under 5 is preferred

• Able to work up to 8 hours a day, and during school holidays

• Committed to building strong relationships with children and whānau

• Enthusiastic about creating fun-filled days for tamariki

• Warm, caring nature

• Confident communicator in English

• NZ residency or NZ work visa is a pre-requisite

• All potential employees are police vet checked
