Position Title: E15 Intern

Reports To: Vice President of Hospitality Strategy & Analyst, Strategy & Analytics

Internship Start & Length: August 2026 through December 2026 (potential to extend)

Job Summary

Job Summary:
The E15 Intern will be part of a team where primary responsibility will involve developing and applying analytical tools, reporting, and visualizations to support business performance, operational decision-making, and strategic initiatives while helping improve the guest experience through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities:
•    Enhance and maintain reporting (heat maps, dashboards, slide decks, status updates) standards and formats for partner and operator end use
•    Identify opportunities to change existing product offering or distribution
•    Communicate key guest insights and potential action items
•    Support, manage, or directly completely ad-hoc analytics projects as needed or required

Ideal Qualifications:
•    Self-starter who is eager to learn the business and drive insights
•    Earning a degree in business strategy, business analytics, finance, economics, or a related field
•    Experience using an array of analytical tools for data analysis and visualization including Excel, SQL, R, Python, and/or Tableau
•    Can share examples of using data to solve complex problems 
•    Foodie with an interest in sports!

Expectations:
•    This role will be intended for work at the University of Michigan, but scope of work may expand to additional support. Partner closely with operations, finance, and leadership teams to provide analytical support for events, planning activities, and business performance initiatives.
