Dutch Wonderland Happy Hauntings/Winter Wonderland Entertainment Team

Roles & Responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities 

· Proactive engagement with guests to encourage participation in planned events and/or activities on-site 

· Follow all procedures and protocols as presented during Dutch Wonderland training and written guidelines

· Execute all activities as designed by Dutch Wonderland 

· Follow property policies and procedures and appropriately refer guest concerns to leadership when necessary.

· Proactively assist in the upkeep and maintenance of a safe, clean, and organized work environment 

· Perform cleaning duties, which includes using approved cleaning chemicals 

· All other duties assigned by leadership 

Language: Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, coworkers, and leadership. Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Education and Experience: 

· No education requirements for this position 

· Some level of customer service experience is helpful but not required. 

· Previous work in youth-centric programs and/ or companies helpful but not required. 

Requirements: 

· Must be at least 14 years of age and meet all applicable Pennsylvania Child Labor Act requirements.

· Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

. Ability to attend required training prior to beginning assigned duties.

· Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift 

· Must meet grooming and personal hygiene standards and wear required clothing layers to support the cleanliness and maintenance of shared costumes or clothing.

· Must be playful, outgoing, friendly, and convey a positive, guest-centric attitude 

· Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a fast-paced team 

Physical Requirements: 

· Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday 

· Ability to frequently stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders 

· Ability to safely move and handle supplies, equipment, and activity materials as required for assigned duties.

Working Conditions: 

· Frequent exposure to outdoor and indoor areas of the park 

· Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions 

· Subject to frequent interruptions, constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environments
