Summary
The Employment Direct Support Specialist provides on-site job coaching and mentoring to help clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities succeed in their workplace. They also collaborate with case managers to monitor progress and ensure clients meet their individual habilitation goals.
Job Description
| Satisfactory completion of post-employment testing is required to maintain employment.
Pay Range: $18.47 - $23.00 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Adult Skills Center (TASC) provides innovative and proactive services that empower individuals with diverse intellectual, developmental, and mental health needs to achieve their highest level of Independence and realize their greatest potential. The Employment Direct Support Specialist ensures assistance is provided as needed for program operations and clients, provides job coaching for newly hired clients in the community, and assists clients with adjusting/acclimating to their new job. The DSS works with Case Managers to identify challenges and ensure best outcomes for clients in their jobs. Primary duties:
