DRIVER-

Essential Job Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the
essential functions.
• Transports residents to their destination whenever transportation is needed.
• Makes miscellaneous runs for the office - banking, printer, post office, corporate office
etc., whenever needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of all vehicles on a daily basis; washes vehicles whenever
necessary.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on all vehicles. Reports any problems to
Supervisor of Maintenance.
• Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Exercises extreme care in driving and in assisting residents on and off vehicles.
• Is courteous, in uniform and well-groomed at all times.
• Accomplishes additional duties as required and directed by Supervisor.
• Assists grounds staff with snow and ice removal whenever necessary.
• Operates wheelchair lifts properly and ensures safe transport of wheelchair bound
residents, residents with electric carts and residents with walkers.
• Maintains daily maintenance log.

Qualifications:
• One year experience at similar facility preferred.
• Must possess a valid Massachusetts CDL Class II with a passenger endorsement license.
• CPR & First Aid annually
• Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak English.
