Job DetailsJob Location: Colby, KS - Colby, KS 67701We are hiring an experienced Driller to lead a 3–5 person rig crew in Colby, Kansas. This is a hands-on position for someone with oilfield experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to safely lead a crew.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a 3–5 person rig crew.
Operate drilling rig equipment and drawworks.
Oversee rig-up, rig-down, and daily drilling operations.
Direct Floorhands and Derrickhands.
Conduct safety meetings and ensure safe work practices.
Monitor equipment, downhole conditions, and well pressures.
Assist with equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance.
Maintain a safe and organized rig site.
Complete required operating reports.

QualificationsQualifications

Previous oilfield or drilling experience.
Strong leadership skills and work ethic.
Basic mechanical and troubleshooting knowledge.
Valid driver's license required.
CDL preferred.
Clean driving record preferred.
3+ years of drilling rig experience preferred.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed.
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform physically demanding work.
Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.

Previous drilling experience on a Kelly Drive Rig is required.
