2025 Season Dragway Events Crew

Bristol Dragway is looking for 3-5 Dragway event crew members to join our staff for the 2025 season and beyond. These seasonal employees (March - October) are the backbone of our events, and help pull off some of the biggest Drag Racing events in the country every year.  We are looking for reliable personnel  with a keen eye for detail and an interest in motorsports. The ideal candidates will have experience or interest in race operation related tasks, the ability to learn how or possess the knowledge of operating equipment(such as tractors, sweepers, etc.), and possess the physical stamina needed to complete events and tasks.

 Responsibilities

• Assist with race operation tasks such as, but not limited to: Starting Line, Staging Lanes, Water Box, Back of Staging, Tower Operations, Tech Inspection, and Event Ticketing
• Assist and perform surface prep, maintenance, and incident cleaning of the track.
• Assist with pre-event facility readiness, including moving fencing, hanging temporary signage, assisting with racer stacking/parking, etc.
• Perform tasks on equipment (tractors/scrubbers/sweepers/etc)
• Collaborate with other co-workers on tasks. 
•  Report any issues to Dragway management.

Requirements and skills

•    Willingness to learn aspects of Dragway operations
•     Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and processes.       
•    Experience using basic hand tools.
•    Ability to read and comprehend basic operator manuals.
•    Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in general maintenance or similar positions is a plus.

 Other Details

• Starting Pay: $10-15/Per Hour Depending On Skill & Experience
• Seasonal Period: March 1 - October 15 (Available on Events Days as well as the possibility for venue preparation needs both pre- and post-events)
• Hours: The hours are dynamic based on the needs for events, but can be long depending on the type of event we are running.
