Fulfill, the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, has been dedicated to addressing hunger in the Jersey Shore community since 1984. Our mission is to accelerate food security throughout Monmouth & Ocean Counties by leading a collaborative movement that connects people to food and related resources while also addressing systemic barriers to self-sufficiency and well-being. Fulfill proudly works with a network of nearly 300 partners, including soup kitchens, food pantries and shelters to provide 1.3 million meals per month to more than 130,000 families, children, seniors and veterans in need. Our headquarters is in Neptune with a satellite branch (The BEAT Center) in Toms River.

Who You Are

Responsible for Fulfill’s gift processing and acknowledgment processes, the Donor Relations Associate is responsible for donation processing, data integrity, gift acknowledgement generation and mailing, and overall donor relations duties, including food/fund drive and events support. They will work within a highly collaborative Development & External Relations team to contribute toward meeting established fundraising and communications goals, handling a variety of roles in an organized, accurate, efficient, and professional manner.

What You'll Do

Raiser’s Edge NXT Gift Processing

• Manages the Gift Processing function overseeing the donor relationship from gift receipt through gift stewardship, entering and importing data for constituents, events, gifts, and actions, through individual processing and batching.
• Ensuring documentation of organization gifts, sorting, scanning and recording donation detail from gifts received via mail.
• Managing the Gift acknowledgement program, ensuring letters are regularly updated and align with gift intent.
• Ensure gifts received via third party platforms are downloaded recorded properly.
• Contributes to the integrity of the Raiser’s Edge database, including revising addresses, phone numbers and emails, reviewing returned mail, and conducting routine database clean-up.
• Assists with maintaining RSVP lists for donor events, output lists and queries from the database as needed.
• Supervises development department volunteers assisting in letter processing and data entry.

Donor Relations

• Responsible for gift and donor records ensuring donor stewardship and audit compliance.
• Serves a first point of contact for donor calls and directs calls, as appropriate to other Development team members.
• Attends and Staffs Community Events, Fund & Food Drives, and Special Events, in partnership with the Special Events and Community Engagement Specialists,as needed, including preparing and packaging event materials, representing Fulfill, and/or supporting volunteers.
• Organize and oversee Raiser’s Edge and other development-related tasks to be completed by volunteers.
• Maintain vendor relationships for inventory of departmental mailing stock, community and special event materials and give aways.

General Requirements

• Provide back up for Fulfill’s Neptune Reception Desk.
• During peak seasons, assist with food drive and food donation intake.
• Perform other duties as needed to fulfill our mission and drive our vision.

What You Bring

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience with database management, with Raiser’s Edge experience preferred. 
• Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Valid Driver’s License

What We Offer

Compensation & Work Environment

Salary range: $48,000-$51,500 annually, commensurate with experience.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employee will be required to spend time in the warehouse distribution center occasionally as required.

In instances of a federal, state or locally declared emergency, Fulfill is typically considered an essential service and emergency responder; all of its employees may be called upon to perform regular or emergent duties outside the scope of their usual responsibilities.

The employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, and occasionally up to 30 lbs.
