The dog bather is responsible for professionally bathing, brushing, and trimming the nails of pets in a grooming salon. They also assist groomers, manage grooming appointments, and maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and pets.
Job Description
Chaar is now hiring pet bathers. You will be trained to professionally bathe, brush, and perform nail trims on dogs. Come be a part of our team!
Duties:
- Bathe, brush, and trim nails on pets in our grooming salon
- Assist pet groomers as needed
- Communicate effectively with grooming clients
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all parts of the grooming salon
- Cooperate with the team to achieve store goals and create superb customer experiences
- Schedule grooming appointments and answer calls & customer inquiries related to grooming
Requirements:
- 18+ years old
- Must have weekend work availability
- Willingness to learn skills involved in bathing and handling pets
- Cooperative / works well with others
- Good time management skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods (4-6 hours at a time)
- Excellent customer service attitude
- Basic computer literacy
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
- Must be able to bend, twist, reach, and perform other movements necessary for pet handling
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay range $11-14/hr
