Dock Liaison

Job Details: Job Location: LifeCare Alliance - Harmon Avenue - Columbus , OH, Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.00Hourly, Job Purpose:
- The Dock Liaison serves as the coordinator for daily dock and distribution operations, ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient movement of meals, beverages, supplies, equipment, and returns between the kitchen team and drivers. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of operations, supporting the overall efficiency of the distribution process, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily dock activity to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitor route schedules and dock times to maintain timely departures and arrivals.
- Ensure drivers and vehicles are moved through the dock efficiently and depart on schedule.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage the movement of meals, beverages, supplies, and equipment.
- Oversee the return process to ensure accurate tracking and handling of returned items.
- Maintain strong customer relations through effective communication and service.
- Implement quality assurance standards and ensure contract compliance.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Lead and manage dock operations, demonstrating strong leadership and multitasking skills.
Qualifications: Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:
- Experience coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience in food service, logistics, warehouse, transportation, healthcare nutrition, or operations coordination
