Dispatch Associate

The Dispatch Associate is responsible for helping the Dispatcher coordinate the daily scheduling and dispatch of deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of materials to job sites and customer locations. This role is crucial to maintaining operational efficiency and delivering top-tier service to our clients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule, dispatch, and track company drivers and deliveries throughout the Permian Basin.
Prioritize orders based on urgency, customer needs, and delivery routes.
Maintain clear communication with drivers, warehouse staff, and sales team to ensure order accuracy and timely deliveries.
Monitor delivery progress and proactively address any delays, route changes, or issues.
Enter and update order and delivery information into dispatch software or ERP system.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure products are ready for dispatch and properly loaded.
Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, changes, or issues as needed.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, driver logs, and any incidents.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and delivery procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or transportation training preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience in the oilfield services, industrial supply, or transportation industries.
Familiarity with the Permian Basin and surrounding areas is highly preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and dispatching software; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Monday–Friday, with occasional after-hours or weekend availability depending on operational needs.
Office-based with frequent communication with warehouse and field personnel.
Fast-paced and dynamic oilfield environment.
