Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining dishwasher chemical levels, cleaning all dishware, and assisting kitchen staff with prep for events. Additional duties include taking out trash and sanitizing kitchen surfaces at the end of the shift.
Job Description
The Shanna and Bryan Glazer JCC Event Center is seeking to fill the position of part-time Dishwasher

Essential Job Functions (but not limited to)
Maintain dishwasher chemical levels, oversee any issues pertaining to dishwasher, and help when needed to keep kitchen clean
Clean all dishware or items used by the kitchen and once dried store them in the proper location
Help kitchen staff prep for events as needed
Take out all trash at the conclusion of shift; breakdown boxes and dispose in recycle dumpster
Mop all floors and sanitize all kitchen surfaces at conclusion of shift
Position Requirements
Ability to interact and develop rapport with kitchen staff
Professional appearance and attitude
Must be able to work a flexible schedule
Physical Requirements
Lifting, pushing and pulling in excess of 50 pounds using proper body mechanics and/or available equipment as physically required for extended periods of time.
Be able to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of time
Must be capable of work at heights, sometimes above 10 feet.
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions typical for Florida environment.
