Emmy Squared Alexandria is seeking experienced Dishwashers to join our growing team! As part of the Pizza Loves Emily Restaurant Group, Emmy Squared Pizza is a full-service, upscale casual restaurant serving a delicious menu of Detroit-style pizza, award-winning burgers, and sandwiches. With over 20 locations nationwide, including New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Charlotte, Atlanta, Louisville, Nashville and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all equipment and cookware are cleaned and available for use.
• Wash and clean all cookware, utensils, and dishware following Emmy Squared standards.
• Maintain dish area organization, including machine temperature settings and chemical safety.
• Keep kitchen floors clean and free of debris.
• Properly dispose of waste and follow dumpster procedures.
• Ensure kitchen sanitation aligns with health department regulations.
• Minimize loss and waste by using facility supplies appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the back of house.
• Assist with additional back-of-house duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant back-of-house experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Maintains calm and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to handle high volumes of work while maintaining quality.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work around various chemicals and respond to hazardous situations.
• Must be able to:
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and push or pull up to 75 lbs.
• Walk and stand for extended periods, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching overhead.
