Director, Strategic Partnerships

About the role

As a Director of Strategic Partnerships at Evidation, you will own the growth of a territory of pharma and consumer health accounts. You will find, develop, and close strategic deals that change how health is measured and improved using data from everyday life. This is a builder's role on a commercial team that is still writing its playbook. You will help write it.

What you'll do

• Run a consultative, strategic sales process with senior pharma and consumer health stakeholders, helping them see where Evidation's real-world data and engagement platform creates transformational value.
• Hunt new logos and grow the accounts you win. Own the full cycle from lead generation through proposal, pricing, contracting, and close.
• Map the whole organization, not just the first buyer. Build relationships across medical, commercial, HEOR, RWE, and digital teams, and play the long game on account expansion.
• Work deal structure, options, and terms in partnership with internal stakeholders, and iterate quickly when the answer is not obvious.
• Partner with product, delivery, and science teams so what you sell gets delivered and keeps generating value after signature.

1. Target fluency. You know how to navigate a complex, multi-stakeholder pharma organization or consumer health company. You have done it, not read about it.
2. Strategic and wide perspective. You look past the immediate opportunity to expand broadly across stakeholders and build accounts over years, not quarters.
3. Hunter-farmer balance. A genuine blend of landing new logos and growing existing ones. Not one or the other.
4. Start-up mindset. Comfortable with ambiguity, quick pivots, and adjusting on the fly.
5. Driven and coachable. Motivated by financial upside, a measurable work ethic, and a real appetite to keep learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years working with or for life sciences companies, with strong emphasis on customer-facing roles selling into leading global biopharma
• Proven track record of closing strategic deals in pharma, consumer health, or adjacent healthcare markets
• Demonstrated ability to build and hold relationships from analyst to C-suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Preferred:
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or similar)
• Real-world data, RWE, or digital health measurement background
• Consultative, high-value business development experience (Challenger or similar methodology)
• Prior start-up or early-stage commercial experience

The compensation for this full-time position includes salary + commission + equity + benefits. The actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including work location, experience, training, and skill level, so pay for this role may be higher or lower than what is shown on this posting.
