Director, Operational Transformation & Integrations

How You'll Shape Our Success

TSS is growing rapidly through organic growth and acquisitions, and we need an experienced operator to help us scale how the business works. As Director of Operational Transformation and Integrations, you will lead enterprise initiatives that improve processes, strengthen operating discipline, integrate acquired companies, and turn business needs into practical, measurable solutions.

This is an operations-led transformation role, not an IT leadership position. Technology will often enable the work, but your focus will be the business: understanding how work gets done today, designing a better future state, building the structure required to execute, and ensuring changes are adopted and sustained.

You will bring the rigor of a scaled organization without overcomplicating the solution. The right person is a hands-on builder who is equally comfortable mapping a process, analyzing performance data, structuring a major program, leading an integration, and helping leaders and frontline teams navigate change.

Your Day-to-Day Environment

• Partner with leaders across Operations, Finance, HR, Sales, IT, and acquired companies to solve cross-functional business challenges
• Move between strategy and hands-on execution, from diagnosing a process and analyzing data to building the roadmap and leading implementation
• Lead multiple enterprise initiatives using clear governance, milestones, decision points, risks, and measurable outcomes
• Manage and develop project managers, business analysts, and data analysts
• Translate structured transformation methods into practical tools that fit the audience and the business
• Travel approximately 10–25% to support integrations and other strategic initiatives

What You’ll Take Ownership Of

• Build and lead TSS’s operational transformation roadmap, turning business priorities into sequenced programs with clear owners, milestones, and measurable results
• Assess how work is performed across the company; map current-state processes, identify root causes and constraints, and design scalable future-state processes
• Lead process improvement initiatives that improve productivity, quality, cycle time, cost, capacity, customer experience, or revenue performance
• Establish practical operating mechanisms, including KPIs, dashboards, management cadences, standard work, accountability structures, and continuous-improvement routines
• Serve as the business leader for major system deployments, partnering with IT and functional teams from requirements and process design through testing, rollout, adoption, and value realization
• Support acquisition due diligence through operational assessments, process and systems reviews, risk identification, and integration planning
• Lead post-acquisition integration across people, operating processes, systems, data, and performance management while protecting business continuity and respecting the strengths of the acquired company
• Build repeatable integration playbooks, tools, and governance that improve speed, consistency, and value realization across future acquisitions
• Structure major programs with the appropriate core team, executive sponsors or steering committee, decision gates, dependencies, risk management, and executive reporting
• Use data and analytics to identify opportunities, test assumptions, measure impact, and ensure improvements are sustained
• Develop project managers and analysts to operate as strong business partners who bring clarity, insight, and execution discipline
• Lead change with sound judgment and high emotional intelligence, introducing only the level of structure needed to help the business move forward

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
• 10+ years of progressive experience in operational transformation, operational excellence, business operations, process improvement, enterprise programs, integration leadership, or related work
• 5+ years leading and developing teams, including experience managing project managers, business analysts, data analysts, or continuous-improvement professionals
• Demonstrated ownership of large cross-functional programs from problem definition and business case through implementation, adoption, and measurable results
• Hands-on experience using Lean, Six Sigma, value-stream mapping, root-cause analysis, or comparable process-improvement methods; Green Belt or Black Belt certification is strongly preferred
• Experience serving as the business or program leader for at least one significant ERP, CRM, field-service, workflow, or data-platform deployment from planning through launch and adoption
• Direct experience leading or sponsoring post-acquisition integrations and aligning operating processes, teams, systems, and data
• Experience establishing program governance, including core teams, executive sponsors or steering committees, decision gates, KPIs, risk management, and executive reporting
• Strong analytical capability and a record of tying transformation work to quantified business outcomes
• Business judgment and commercial acumen, with the ability to understand how process and systems decisions affect customers, employees, revenue, cost, and scalability
• Experience in field services, healthcare services, laboratory services, manufacturing, or another multi-site service environment is preferred
• Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs
