Director of Revenue, FP&A

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Revenue, FP&A based in the United States.

The Director of Revenue, FP&A will play a highly visible leadership role within a global FP&A organization.
You will oversee revenue forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis across go-to-market functions.
Working closely with senior executives, you will translate complex financial data into clear insights that support critical business decisions.
The role will shape revenue strategy, membership forecasting, subscription economics, and long-term financial planning.
You will also help modernize finance systems and tools, driving greater efficiency and deeper business visibility across the organization.
Success requires a strategic thinker who can operate comfortably at executive level while remaining hands-on when needed.

Accountabilities:

• Partner closely with executive leadership, including the CFO, CMO, CCO, and other senior stakeholders, to support revenue strategy and business decision-making.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reporting processes, ensuring accurate and actionable financial insights.
• Communicate revenue performance to internal and external stakeholders, including preparing Board of Directors materials and investor-facing insights.
• Develop the long-term strategic roadmap for revenue forecasting, strengthening best practices around sales forecasting, membership modeling, and lifetime value dynamics.
• Evolve membership and revenue forecasting models to improve visibility into recurring revenue performance and business drivers.
• Lead the modernization and evolution of Finance systems, partnering with technical teams to implement scalable tools that improve efficiency and enterprise-wide insights.
• Partner with Revenue Accounting and Legal to support global compliance and contribute to the development of commercial contract structures.
• Influence go-to-market leadership through rigorous financial analysis, strategic recommendations, and clear communication of revenue trends and opportunities.
• Lead and mentor senior finance professionals while helping build a strong leadership pipeline and culture of excellence.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant finance experience, including extensive FP&A experience with revenue forecasting.
• 5+ years of experience leading and mentoring senior-level professionals, with a demonstrated ability to develop talent and build high-performing teams.
• Proven experience driving meaningful innovation and transformation within a Finance organization.
• Ability to operate strategically at the enterprise level while remaining hands-on and execution-oriented when required.
• Deep expertise in complex revenue models, particularly recurring revenue, membership or subscription businesses, and hardware-software ecosystems.
• Exceptional ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and navigate high-stakes negotiations with major vendors or customers.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to audiences with varying levels of financial expertise.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP, data visualization, and financial planning platforms, including NetSuite, Tableau, and Pigment.
• Experience leading large-scale Finance systems implementations and technology-enabled process improvements.
• Strong strategic thinking, intellectual curiosity, analytical judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to succeed in an innovative and entrepreneurial environment.
• High level of integrity, collaboration, and accountability.

• Region 2: $182,750–$215,000 USD annually.
