About the Resort

Nestled along three miles of pristine Gulf Coast beachfront and surrounded by lush mangrove preserves, Signia by Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort is entering an exciting new chapter. Currently undergoing the most significant transformation in its nearly four-decade history, the resort is being comprehensively reimagined and will debut as Signia by Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort in early 2027.

This resort-wide revitalization will redefine the guest experience, introducing redesigned guestrooms and suites, elevated culinary concepts, enhanced wellness amenities, destination-inspired experiences, dynamic gathering spaces, and the warm, anticipatory service that defines the Signia by Hilton brand.

This transformation presents a unique opportunity for a visionary Food & Beverage executive to play a leading role in shaping the resort's culinary identity and service culture for years to come.

Position Overview

The Director of Food & Beverage serves as the executive leader responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, financial performance, and guest experience of all food and beverage operations throughout the resort.

This highly visible leadership role oversees multiple dining venues, lounges, banquet and catering operations, in-room dining, pool and beach food and beverage services, and all supporting operational teams.

Reporting directly to the VP/Managing Director, the Director of Food & Beverage will partner with resort leadership, ownership, and corporate teams to create a world-class culinary and beverage program aligned with the vision and standards of Signia by Hilton. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of leading luxury resort food and beverage operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, cultivating high-performing teams, and driving strong financial results in complex, high-volume environments.

This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished hospitality executive to help lead the culinary transformation and repositioning of one of Florida's most iconic beachfront resorts.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, lounges, bars, banquets, catering, in-room dining, and pool and beach venues.
• Drive operational excellence across all outlets while maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction and luxury service standards.
• Champion Forbes Travel Guide and luxury hospitality service standards through training, coaching, auditing, and accountability.
• Partner with the Executive Chef and resort leadership team to create innovative dining experiences that enhance the resort's market position and guest appeal.
• Lead all financial aspects of the Food & Beverage division, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, purchasing, inventory control, and capital planning.
• Develop and execute revenue-driving strategies while maintaining expense controls and maximizing profitability.
• Oversee high-volume banquet and catering operations supporting corporate groups, weddings, social events, and resort functions.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and inspire a team of department leaders and associates while fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and accountability.
• Establish and maintain departmental policies, procedures, training programs, and performance standards.
• Lead service recovery efforts and resolve complex guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Rooms, Spa, and Resort Operations to ensure seamless delivery of the overall guest experience.
• Support the successful opening and transition of renovated food and beverage venues as part of the resort's transformation and Signia by Hilton relaunch.
• Ensure compliance with all company, brand, safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and regulatory requirements.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Director of Food & Beverage at a luxury hotel or resort.
• Proven success overseeing multiple high-end restaurant concepts combined with significant banquet and catering operations.
• Experience leading food and beverage operations within large-scale, full-service luxury resort environments.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, labor management, inventory control, purchasing, and capital expenditure planning.
• Demonstrated ability to drive guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance simultaneously.
• Experience with Forbes Four-Star or Five-Star properties strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting a resort repositioning, major renovation, opening, reopening, or brand transition highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook; experience with Delphi, OpenTable, and hospitality management systems preferred.
• Ability to thrive within a dynamic, luxury hospitality environment.
• Current TIPS Certification or equivalent alcohol service certification preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within a designated timeframe.
