Director of Capture

POSITION SUMMARY
The Director is responsible for developing and executing full lifecycle win strategies to identify and close new business for the company. This position will be responsible for developing capture campaigns that include comprehensive strategies for customer engagement, teaming, solution development, stakeholder engagement, win plans, capture plans, key personnel acquisition, subject matter expertise, and budget management to accomplish the highest probability of win. The Director will support proposal and business development teams by building and leading a pipeline of opportunities, creating and vetting win strategies, reviewing/developing proposal content, and supporting other activities as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Qualifies new business aligned with the annual operating plan
• Responsible for opportunity qualification, opportunity development, capture management, and proposal support
• Advances assigned opportunities through the business development lifecycle
• Qualifies new business opportunities to include analysis of customer budget, capabilities, customer preferences, competitive environment, and incumbent intelligence gathering
• Manages customer and stakeholder engagement
• Prepares detailed competitor analyses
• Identifies qualified teaming partners
• Develops pricing strategies in coordination with the Pricing Manager
• Develops and implements effective win strategies and capture plans to profitably grow new business and retain existing business
• Supports development of all proposal volumes, including the technical approach and cost narrative
• Works closely with the solution and proposal development organization to formulate compelling management and technical solutions and winning proposals and ensure quality and timeliness of all submissions
• Collaborates with the project teams on contract performance and customer feedback
• Coordinates development of communications/marketing campaigns supporting capture efforts

QUALIFICATIONS
• Active Clearance (Secret, Top Secret) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required
• Minimum 10 years of capture management experience preferably with security and risk management contracts
• Previous project or program management experience (preferred)
• Multi-disciplined experience leading winning U.S. Government captures (>$50M) for domestic, IC, and/or international opportunities
• Prior military or IC experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with capture tools (GovWin IQ, Salesforce, etc.)
• Proficient with government opportunity databases (SAM.gov, FPDS, etc.)
• Ability to synthesize requirements and present business cases for action/corporate response in a clear, concise, focused manner
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Computer proficient and experienced with the full Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce CRM
