The Director, Influencer & Affiliate Marketing owns the performance and growth of BIOptimizers' creator partnerships program.

This is not a traditional influencer marketing role focused primarily on impressions, engagement, or brand awareness. Success is measured by your ability to build a scalable creator ecosystem that generates profitable customer acquisition while establishing long-term partnerships that become strategic assets for the business.

You will own a significant annual influencer budget, recruit and develop high-performing creator relationships, negotiate commercial partnerships, build scalable ambassador systems, and continually improve campaign performance through data-driven decision making.

We're looking for someone who is highly autonomous, commercially minded, analytical, and energized by building something exceptional. You'll receive clear business objectives and the freedom to develop the strategy, systems, and partnerships necessary to achieve them.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own & Scale Performance Influencer Marketing

• Own and optimize a $500,000+ annual influencer marketing budget while consistently achieving or exceeding a minimum 1.7x last-click Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) with both paid and commission-based influencers and double annual revenue from 2026 vs 2027.

• Develop profitable creator acquisition strategies across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Podcasts, email sponsorships, websites, newsletters, and emerging channels.

• Continuously improve campaign profitability while increasing influencer contribution to overall company revenue.

• Negotiate high-value creator partnerships that maximize licensing rights, paid usage rights, Meta advertising permissions, multi-channel deliverables, affiliate opportunities, and long-term ROI.

• Work closely with Paid Media to activate creator content through Meta advertising and maximize performance beyond organic distribution.

2. Build a World-Class Creator Ecosystem

• Recruit, activate, and grow a high-performing ambassador community of 500+ active commission-based and hybrid creators.

• Develop scalable recruiting systems that consistently generate new creator relationships while reactivating dormant ambassadors already within the BIOptimizers ecosystem.

• Build direct relationships with creators and creator representatives while minimizing reliance on traditional influencer agencies whenever practical.

• Identify emerging creators before they become expensive, negotiate favorable long-term partnerships, and develop relationships that grow alongside their audiences.

• Manage strategic creator relationships through consistent communication, accountability, performance reviews, and long-term partnership development.

3. Lead Creator Strategy & Commercial Partnerships

• Transform product positioning and campaign objectives into creator briefs that consistently generate high-performing, conversion-focused content.

• Expand creator relationships beyond one-time sponsored posts into comprehensive omni-channel partnerships that include email, YouTube, websites, podcasts, paid advertising, affiliate promotions, licensing rights, and future product launches.

• Negotiate creative partnership structures that deliver exceptional value while strengthening long-term relationships with creators.

• Partner closely with Creative, Paid Media, CRM, Product Marketing, and Analytics teams to maximize campaign effectiveness.

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve creative performance, messaging, offers, and partnership structures based on campaign results.

4. Own Performance Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Measure success through revenue, contribution margin, ROAS, creator productivity, customer acquisition, and long-term partnership value—not vanity metrics alone.

• Analyze campaign performance to identify optimization opportunities and confidently explain what is driving results.

• Track creator performance, recruitment pipelines, licensing agreements, and partnership health through organized reporting systems.

• Present structured business updates supported by clear insights, actionable recommendations, and measurable performance improvements.

• Develop scalable reporting processes that improve forecasting, operational visibility, and executive decision-making.

5. Build Scalable Systems & Future Team Growth

• Design repeatable recruiting, onboarding, communication, reporting, and partnership management systems that support long-term growth.

• Leverage AI, automation, and modern software platforms to improve productivity, reporting, recruiting, and operational efficiency.

• Continuously identify process improvements that eliminate manual work and increase scalability.

• As the creator program grows, help define future hiring needs and mentor coordinators, interns, or junior team members to build a high-performing influencer marketing function.

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience leading influencer marketing, creator partnerships, affiliate marketing, or performance partnerships for high-growth supplement, wellness, nutrition, fitness, or CPG brands.

• Demonstrated success managing influencer marketing budgets of $500,000+ annually.

• Proven experience building and scaling ambassador programs with 250–500+ active creators.

• Track record of driving measurable business growth through influencer marketing with a strong understanding of revenue, profitability, and attribution.

• Experience negotiating creator contracts, licensing rights, usage rights, affiliate agreements, commission structures, and long-term partnership agreements.

• Experience managing creator relationships directly rather than relying primarily on influencer agencies.

• Strong understanding of performance marketing concepts including last-click attribution, paid amplification, Meta advertising, and customer acquisition.

• Experience using influencer management platforms such as GRIN, CreatorIQ, Aspire, Modash, Upfluence, or equivalent software.

• Experience working closely with Paid Media, Creative, CRM, Product Marketing, and Analytics teams.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scaling influencer programs beyond 500 active creators.

• Experience building ambassador or affiliate communities using Slack, Discord, Facebook Groups, Circle, or similar platforms.

• Experience activating creator content through paid social advertising.

• Experience leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or equivalent platforms to improve recruiting, reporting, communication, and workflow efficiency.

• Experience within subscription or direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce businesses.

Work Location

This is a fully remote position. BiOptimizers has a globally distributed team and supports flexible work arrangements across time zones.

Company Hours & Collaboration

With team members across many countries and time zone differences of up to 16 hours, we’ve established a standard collaboration window from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.

This is not a required work schedule, but a shared time frame for meetings and team syncs. At BiOptimizers, we support flexibility — team members are encouraged to work the hours that best suit them, as long as they:
