Director, Global Integrated Evidence Operations

Summary:

The Global Integrated Evidence Operations, Director role oversees and coordinates the operational processes, digital system support, and governance for Global Integrated Evidence & Innovation (GIE&I), which includes responsibility for operating models, system readiness, and process adherence for integrated evidence planning (IEP) and generation programs across the enterprise.  In addition, the role is accountable for leading the development of Integrated Evidence Plans (IEPs) for assets, ensuring alignment from product strategy (TrPP) through communication objectives to evidence generation plans.

This role has significant impact on asset and functional strategy, leading complex, cross-functional planning efforts and influencing senior leadership decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead execution and continuous improvement of IEP program with a focus on operational efficiency by building out and maintaining digital planning platform/repository
• Support enterprise-level adoption and effective use of ATLAS as a strategic planning and decision-making platform
• Ensure ATLAS reflects integrated, accurate, and decision-ready asset strategies
• Ensure operational excellence through the continued development and implementation of standardized processes, tools, and governance for IEP and generation  
• Contribute to the development of operational KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement for IEP planning and generation
• Identify and implement enhancements to systems and processes that improve end-to-end evidence planning capabilities
• Serve as primary lead for enterprise training, change management, and capability building for systems, process, and governance
• Act as a lead in the development of Integrated Evidence Plans (IEPs) for assigned assets, ensuring alignment to product strategy (TrPP), communication objectives, and evidence generation plans
• Act as a lead for highly complex, cross-functional evidence planning initiatives with direct impact on asset strategy and decision-making
• Partner with cross-functional asset teams (e.g., Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Medical Communications) to translate strategy into evidence needs and priorities
• Ensure clear linkage and traceability across strategy → messages → evidence → studies within ATLAS
• Drive cross-functional alignment to resolve evidence gaps, prioritize investments, and support asset-level decision-making
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders to align on evidence strategy, prioritization, and tradeoffs across functions
• Drive and shape evidence planning governance to ensure alignment with asset vision and strategic objectives, and drive decision making
• Serve as primary lead and advise on evidence generation governance to oversee the execution and alignment to strategy
• Provide strategic leadership and recommendations for evidence operations, evidence strategy, prioritization, risks, and gaps to senior leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in drug development or business management.
• 8–12+ years of experience in life sciences, including clinical development, medical affairs, HEOR, or evidence strategy
• Proven track record in program management with matrixed teams in health or life sciences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
• Strategic mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and focus work accordingly.
• Capability to synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful content.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent project, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and lead parallel projects.
• Competence in drug development lifecycle and scientific understanding of assets.

Preferred:

• Formal training or certification in project management methodologies (PMP, Six Sigma, Agile).
• Proven experience leading development of Integrated Evidence Plans or asset-level evidence strategies
• Experience in leading or working closely with leadership governance
• Successful execution and management of multiple projects supporting life sciences research.
• Technical experience in drug development/commercialization.
• Knowledge of drug development lifecycle functions such as Discovery, Clinical Trials, and Regulatory.
• Experience with digital technology to support management of planning and research

Minimum $186,489.00 - Maximum $278,875.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate’s job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role. Typically, actual pay will be positioned within the established range, rather than at its minimum or maximum. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with states and local laws.
