What the day will look like

As Director, Enterprise Insights, you will sit at the intersection of brand, research, strategy and market insights. Together, we bring Aon's proprietary data, client research, market intelligence and business expertise together to identify the issues that matter most and develop distinctive points of view that strengthen Aon's market position.

A key part of the role is helping shape Aon's global content agenda. You will identify the themes, issues and perspectives where Aon has the expertise, credibility and right to lead the conversation. Through horizon scanning, research and close partnership with business leaders and subject matter experts, you will help connect Aon's data, insights and expertise into a globally connected agenda that demonstrates what Aon sees, believes and can uniquely help clients address.

You will: 

• Lead Aon's enterprise insights agenda and identify the trends, risks and opportunities shaping client and market needs.
• Translate research, proprietary data and market intelligence into clear, compelling and differentiated perspectives.
• Shape and drive Aon's global content strategy, helping determine where and how Aon can lead market conversations.
• Partner with leaders and subject matter experts across Risk Capital, Human Capital and our regions to develop distinctive points of view.
• Work closely with Brand, Content, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Editorial, Bid and Sales Enablement teams to bring Aon's strongest thinking to market.
• Help ensure our content reaches priority audiences across search, AI-enabled discovery, digital, social, media, events and client channels.

You'll partner with senior leaders and subject matter experts around the world, helping determine where Aon should lead the conversation and how we can bring our best thinking to clients. Your work will directly support client engagement, market influence and business growth.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Significant experience in enterprise insights, thought leadership, strategy, research, brand, communications, consulting or a related field, ideally within professional services, financial services or another sophisticated B2B environment.
• Experience leading primary and secondary research programs and turning insights into clear business recommendations and strategic opportunities.
• Outstanding ability to synthesize research, data, market intelligence and subject matter expertise into distinctive and impactful viewpoints.
• Experience developing thought leadership, intellectual capital strategies or market positioning initiatives that influence business direction, client engagement and reputation.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills, with experience partnering successfully with senior leaders across a global organization.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent proven experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics, Political Science, Research, Journalism or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $175,000 to $215,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.  The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
