Position Summary

The Director, Content & Intelligence will drive the strategy, development and execution of NeuGroup’s content ecosystem, in partnership with the content and research teams. This role is responsible for transforming the collective intelligence generated through our peer groups, research initiatives and executive community into valuable content that informs, educates and enables action.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building. The Director will establish a comprehensive content roadmap, develop repeatable production processes, leverage AI to accelerate content creation and work across the organization to deliver content that increases member value, strengthens NeuGroup’s market presence and supports business growth.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer, content creator, and strategist who can turn complex executive conversations into compelling, practical resources while also identifying opportunities to extend their value across marketing, sponsorship and commercial channels.

Content Strategy

• Collaborate with content and research leaders to develop and execute NeuGroup’s enterprise content strategy across member programming, research, digital platforms and thought leadership, using articles, podcasts, videos and other storytelling formats.
• Build and manage an integrated content calendar that aligns editorial and marketing initiatives with organizational priorities and member needs.
• Ensure adherence to content standards, editorial guidelines and governance processes, particularly within the realm of AI-generated content.
• Ensure consistency of voice, quality and messaging across all content channels.

Content Development

• Contribute to the creation of high-value content, including executive summaries, research reports, implementation guides, playbooks and frameworks, articles and white papers, presentation materials, digital and social media content, sponsored thought leadership, and member resources within NeuGroup Connect.
• Translate insights from peer group discussions, research and executive conversations into practical resources members can apply within their organizations, while adapting key themes into concise, compelling content for marketing and social channels.
• Develop content across a range of formats and levels of depth, from thought leadership pieces and guides to short-form video and social media campaigns.

Commercial Content & Partnerships

• Collaborate across NeuGroup teams to identify and develop sponsorable content initiatives.
• Support the creation and commercialization of premium research products, sponsored thought leadership and new content offerings.
• Identify opportunities to package NeuGroup’s intellectual capital in ways that create member value while supporting sponsorships, partnerships and new revenue.
• Ensure all commercial content maintains NeuGroup’s editorial independence, quality standards and member-first philosophy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Content and Research, Marketing, Peer Group Leaders, Sales and Business Development, Member Experience, and Executive Leadership to leverage enterprise and member-generated intelligence to create content that supports member engagement, market visibility, commercial priorities and organizational growth.

Required

• 7+ years of experience in content strategy, marketing communications, editorial, or a related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience in developing video strategy and social media campaigns.
• Ability to translate complex ideas and research into compelling content for a range of formats and audiences, including in-depth reports and guides, executive-level thought leadership, social media content and short-form video.
• Demonstrated success building content programs.
• Familiarity with content sponsorship and commercial publishing.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve content creation and production workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience in financial services, corporate finance, treasury, consulting, or executive membership organizations.
• Experience developing research reports, benchmarking studies, or thought leadership.
• Experience working with senior executive audiences.
