1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – North Syracuse, NY (PL-BC)
A 46 year old female in the North Syracuse area is looking for Direct Support Professional to assist her with getting ready in the morning and bring her to church on Sundays.
She spends most of her days enjoying music and getting out in the community with staff. She prides herself on her appearance to assist where with building her self-esteem. She would also like staff to assist her with heathier food options and fitness activities. She does like to go to the mall often for food and window shopping.
The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active and patient, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate must also be willing to provide personal care when needed by verbal and some physical assistance.
This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.
Hours and days of work: Fridays and Sundays, 9-1pm.
Starting pay: CWR, Starting at $17.50 for Respite and increases with years of relevant experience.
Location: North Syracuse, NY
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be at least 18 years old
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
