1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Liverpool, NY ( PL-BC)
A man in the Liverpool area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist him with safety skills and finding activities that interest him with staff participating along side him.
He spends most of his days at home with his dog, Coco. He enjoys camping, playing games and on his tablet, cooking and live action plays.
The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active and patient, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate must also be willing to provide personal care when needed with verbal prompts.
This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.
Hours and days of work: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with flexible time for starting/ending.
Starting pay: CH Starting pay is $19.25 for Community Hab and increases with years of relevant experience.
Location: Liverpool, NY
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be at least 18 years old
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
